Over 25 years ago Gerard Verge started his journey into the indoor plant industry in Victoria. What began as a franchise with another indoor plant hire group led him to expand into Sydney, where he saw a huge opportunity to make a real impact in the industry.
As part of this growth path The Grow Centre Nursery was born, a 26-acre property in the Redland Bay area that specifically grows indoor plants for the industry. Designed to ensure a steady, high-quality supply of indoor plants,this was the start of ensuring a constant and consistent supply chain for Gerard’s Sydney and Brisbane operations.
Today, the Grow Centre Nursery employs over 30 people and runs 5 semi-trailers carrying plants nationwide. There is also a custom-built warehousing and nursery facility in Melbourne, which is climate-controlled to ensure quality stock all year round, even in the colder months.
After nearly 25 years as a driving force in the industry, Gerard felt it was time to build his own legacy, a brand he could take to the next level. In 2024, Indoor Plant Solutions was born, and he has not looked back since.
Now, with a national presence and a trusted network, Indoor Plant Solutions offers a bespoke solution to indoor plantscaping, from custom pots and containers to green spaces that work seamlessly with your design. Indoor Plant Solutions is now a national business with physical locations in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. We also boast a network of plantscaping partners in Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, Townsville, Tasmania and everywhere in between.
